Warhammer 40,000 Codex: Genestealer Cults (10th Edition)

Genestealer Cults are fanatical sects of alien hybrids that infest Human worlds beyond count. They lurk unseen for generations, hiding and preparing in the dark until their Day of Ascension arrives. Then they rise up in a tide of mutated acolytes, turncoat soldiery and predatory xenos monstrosities to tear down those they see as oppressors. They outmanoeuvre their foes with infiltration, clawed horrors and grimy militia alike squirming through sewers and pipe networks  to reach their prey. They prepare ambush sites and kill zones, flotillas of repurposed vehicles and dirtcycles roaring forth from obscured flanks to crush their reeling enemies. Specialist cult agents employ mind control or assassination to eliminate the foe's leaders. The cult's faithful raise their wyrm-form icons high and chant praise to their Star Children gods, fighting alongside gene-twisted abominations they see as their divinely blessed kin.
