Shield Drones are independent artificial intelligences, programmed to protect the Tau. Unlike the Imperium, the Tau make extensive use of machine intelligences. Normally Drones will require regular orders from a Tau, but when several intelligences are networked together in a squadron they become capable of acting independently for a long period.

This finely detailed kit allows you to upgrade your Tau Gun Drones into Tau Shield Drones. This is a finely detailed resin cast kit that comes in 12 components. It is supplied unpainted and requires assembly – we recommend using Citadel Super Glue and Citadel Paints.
